2025 | 10th international student exchange: welcoming the Ogaki delegation to Namur

On 17 September 2025, Ms Charlotte Bazelaire, Acting Mayor of the City of Namur, welcomed a delegation of students from the Institut de la Providence de Champion and Japanese students from Ogaki in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall. This meeting is part of the 10th international student exchange between Namur and Ogaki, organised in collaboration with the educational institutions and the Ogaki International Exchange Association.

Also in attendance were His Excellency Mr Masahiro Mikami, Ambassador of Japan to Belgium, and Ms Izumi Fujii, Director of the Cultural Section of the Embassy of Japan.

These exchanges offer young people the opportunity to discover another culture, improve their language skills, and build lasting friendships between Namur and Ogaki.
