2024 – 2025 | Electronic music co-creation residency in Québec

When Namur and Quebec City combine their talents to energise the contemporary electronic scene.
As part of a transatlantic artistic collaboration, Namur-based artist Antoine Moureaux (Aemone) and Quebec City artist Loup Ferschke (Lou Fresh) continued their electronic music residency in Quebec City from 23 to 30 July 2025. This project builds on the residency organised at Le Delta in Namur from 17 to 27 October 2024, which culminated in a public performance at the Creative Village of the KIKK Festival on 23 October 2024.
On 27 July 2025, at L’Ampli in Quebec City, the launch concert for the two artists’ new EP, the result of this co-creation, took place. The event, supported by the City of Namur, Le Delta, the City of Québec, L’Ampli de Québec, Wallonie-Bruxelles Musique and the Wallonia-Brussels General Delegation in Québec, brought together artists, elected officials and cultural partners, and provided an opportunity to present to the public the musical creations developed during the cross-residency.
The compositions resulting from this residency were recorded to create an EP, 500 copies of which will be pressed on vinyl, bearing witness to this unique artistic experience and the strengthened connection between the Namur and Quebec music scenes.
This initiative illustrates the commitment of the cities of Namur and Québec to cultural cooperation and international artistic exchanges, while providing a showcase for emerging musical creation and innovation in the field of media and electronic arts.
