Why this document?
NEW asbl is particularly committed to respecting the privacy of its members and of all individuals whose personal data it may process. In the course of its various activities, the organisation may process personal data belonging to different users—whether members or not—via its newsletters or websites, for a range of purposes.
We make every effort to comply with the legal provisions of the Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data, as well as the legal provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 14 April 2016, adopted by the European Parliament and applicable since 25 May 2018. A list of all the legal provisions and related texts is appended to the legal notice of the new.be website.
Who are we? What is our mission?
NEW asbl is a non-profit association that operates as an independent collateral body of the city of Namur. It aims to develop a territorial and institutional marketing policy.
Our mission is to promote Namur as the capital of a creative, collaborative, innovative and sustainable region, and to integrate the city into appropriate international networks when relevant. We act along 3 lines: we are a contact and networking platform, a territorial marketing agent and are in charge of various delegated missions. NEW asbl acts as the Commissioner for International Relations and as secretariat of the Namur Capitale Commission, through its Executive Management.
