Pristina (Kosovo)

Pristina is the capital and largest city of Kosovo. It has a young and dynamic population.

Relations between Namur and Pristina are relatively recent. Namur explored opportunities for collaboration following an invitation from the Mayor of Pristina. There are many areas of cooperation: education, health, local governance, smart cities, heritage and citizens’ exchanges. The latter are supported by the Kosovar and Albanian-speaking communities in Namur. An agreement was signed in 2016.
