2025 | Namur highlights its creative dynamism to the European jury for Namur 2030
As part of the visit of several members of the European jury assessing the candidacy of Namur for the title of European Capital of Culture 2030, the City of Namur highlighted its creative and digital ecosystem on 19 September 2025 at the Pavillon, on the Citadel.
On this occasion, the city highlighted the recognition obtained in 2021 as a UNESCO Creative City in the field of media arts, as well as the driving forces that structure this ecosystem: a close convergence between cultural, academic, institutional, and economic actors. Charlotte Braibant, Namur’s focal point, contributed to the presentation.
This initiative formed part of a broader programme showcasing the city and its cultural, digital, and folkloric assets, aimed at highlighting to the European jury the vitality of the territory of Namur and the collective mobilisation surrounding the Namur 2030 project.
