2025 | Participation of the City of Namur in the 2025 annual conference of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network

On 23 and 24 June 2025, the City of Namur took part in the annual conference of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in Enghien-les-Bains, dedicated this year to the theme “Culture and Artificial Intelligence.”

Ms Stéphanie Scailquin, Deputy Mayor for Town Planning, Territorial Development and Ecological Transition, presented the initiatives of Namur promoting sustainable urban development through culture during the Forum of Mayors.

At the same time, the city participated in the technical meeting of the UNESCO Creative Cities sub-network for media arts, accompanied by the KIKK Festival, highlighting Namur’s cultural and digital dynamism within the international network.
