2026 | Meeting between the Acting Mayor and the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia

On 20 July 2026, Charlotte Bazelaire, Acting Mayor of the City of Namur, received H.E. Mr Tigran Balayan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, at City Hall.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss several topics. In particular, the discussions focused on the possibility of welcoming young Armenian students for internships, thereby encouraging the exchange of experience and skills.

The discussions also covered the possibility of Armenian producers and vendors taking part in the Bord de l’Eau Market, as well as the organisation of a dedicated event in the city centre to introduce the public to products and specialities from Armenian culture.
